You haven’t raised this argument, but God is not forcing us to believe. That's why there might be no definitive proof one way or another. Even His disciples struggled with belief at times. Faith cannot be justified through rational thinking alone. It is inherently mystical and transcends logic.

Consider Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke. In that story, humanity was compelled to behave decently by the Overlords - not out of free will. It seems that God desires our love and faith to be freely reflected, not coerced.
