Science and scientific method are apparently not adequate to explain our existence and consciousness in a holistic way. Simply because, as pointed out by the author, there is no method to study subjective phenomena even as simple as synchronicity described by Carl Jung and experienced by many.
It's of course fine to practice many kinds of sciences and art of mathematics, with exceptions (probably) to the matters raised here and maybe to some extent quantum physics. Both "ends" of human knowledge (psychology is another one) encountered new kind of boundary compared to those in the history of science.
Science started to include ethics quite recently. Same will happen with the faith as another method of acquiring knowledge and become integral science. Otherwise science risks to stay in a disconnected puddle of truth. And today science is needed more than ever in the human history to prevent greater damage.
