I’ve always wondered what is so interested about Facebook. Thank you for reminding it’s there and it’s doing harm. Maybe, some influential opinion leaders there can start a campaign of making friends with “enemies”? There was some research years ago that only a small amount of people influence others nearby (maybe, simply because for those latter ones it does not matter that much to come with their own views), so basically popularizing diversifying one’s feeds will bring opposing viewpoints to contemplate over (assuming people even think and not just channel emotions around?).

As for disintegrating Western world, it is known of doing it for at least past 100 years (The Decline of the West by Oswald Spengler).
