Hard to add anything. Perhaps it’s enough a curious child has enough time to his/her own projects. At least, I do not remember purely school materials were interesting personally to me. It was usually something less usual, well beyond school curricula. Though I guess I would achieve much more with knowledgeable like-minded mentors.
